ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

JUNE 3, 2010

7:15P.M.          Called meeting to order. Present: Paula B. Keefe, Richard B.

                        Gorden, Ellen W. Abelson and Mark J. Mazur.

1.   The Board was given copies of an article from the 5/31/10 Boston Globe

      discussing the taxation of property owned by the Catholic Church.

7:20P.M.          The Board reconvened in the Selectmen’s meeting room to

                        meet with representatives of the Islamic Center of New

                        England ( ICNE).

7:30P.M.          The Board met with three representatives of ICNE, Badawi

                        Dweik, Rashid Noor and Amin Zama. Also present were

                        Director of Finance, William Fowler  and Cindy Amara, an

                        Attorney from Town Counsel’s office. They discussed the

                        assessing of 74 Chase Drive.

8: 45P.M.         The meeting with representatives of ICNE ended.

8:50P.M.          The Board reconvened in the Assessor’s Office and went.

                        into Executive Session.

9:05P.M.          The Board returned from their Executive Session and resumed

                        their regular meeting.

2.   The Board took the following actions on the following FY 2010 abatement

      applications:

                        Parcel # 91-235           Deem Denied

                        Parcel #91-234            Deem Denied
